Full redecoration planned room by room, so the house stays in use while the work is carried out.

Hallways, stairs and landings

Walls, ceilings, banisters and doors in the busiest part of the house.

Nurseries and children's rooms

Bedrooms and nurseries, including two-tone walls.

Feature walls

Deep colours, panelled walls and chimney breasts picked out from the rest of the room.

Dustless sanding

Preparation is carried out with a dustless sanding system, which suits a house that is lived in during the work.

Wallpaper hanging

As well as painting, Martin hangs wallpaper, from a single feature wall to a whole room. Walls are filled and sanded flat first so the paper sits flat and the joins stay tight.

Frequently asked questions

Can you decorate while we are living in the house?

Yes. The work is planned room by room, floors and furniture are covered, and dustless sanding keeps dust to a minimum.

Do you decorate a single room?

Yes. Jobs range from a single room to a whole house.

Who chooses the colours and the paint?

You choose the colours. Martin can advise on the finish that suits each surface, such as a wipeable paint for kitchens, bathrooms and hallways.

How should I prepare for the decorator?

Clear small items, pictures and ornaments from the rooms being decorated. Furniture is moved to the centre of the room and covered.

How long does it take to decorate a whole house?

It depends on the number of rooms and the preparation needed. Martin gives a timescale with the quote after seeing the house.

Is the quote free?

Yes. Martin visits, looks over the surfaces and prices the work. Quotes are free.
